Sorry to keep bleating on about it but as you know i've arranged a charity day for 20th March.

Now i need some help with trophies, do i get one big one for the team? or a smaller one for each of the four winners in the team? My aim is to have this as an annual event so i'm thinking one bigger trophy would be best so it could be returned each year.

Also I was looking for a name for the event aswell to go on the Trophy. It's my grandad who has Alzhiemers that has really given me the get up and go to arrange the event so I was thinking of calling it "The Alzhiemers Annual Open" or on a more personal note my grandads name is John Greenfield so maybe the "Jonnie Greenfield Classic"???

Any other ideas more than welcome? even the funnies.

Get four small individual and a medium sized for the team, some teams will be made up of people who do not know each other.

Dont know about the word classic in the title, but it would be nice to call it after him. Maybe the Jonnie Greenfield cup / challenge.

Definatly the "Johnny Greenfield Classic" for me.

One Big Trophy to be returned, and maybe 4 small little keep sakes, for each team member.

Classic is too American. I'd get a large Quaich as a trophy and call comp 'The Greenfield Quaich'.

ps. individual prizes are good, a keepsake is nice but it needs to be quality, not tinny crap.

I like the suggestion to include his full name but if you want variations;
JG Memorial Classic
JG Memorial
JG Celebrationary Classic (hey, upbeat, sounds like he was soemone to be remembered with happiness, not just with Alzheimers. That all sounds a bit worthy but you know what I mean...)
And a small memento for the day for each team member is the best way to go imo.

Thanks for the advice lads and ladess, think i might go simple with "The John Greenfield Cup" to be given to the team and four smaller medals for individuals.

Homer, just going to have a look at that site now, thanks.

You know it wasn't. Just me being stupid. (and you know I'll still outdrive you given half the chance!)
Listen, in all seriousness, we all hope you have a brilliant day and makes loads of dosh. Is there any way that we lot (who can't make it along) can help you out?
