help needed on golf balls

i am using pro v1 at the minute and there is too much spin off the face of the driver is there another ball out there i can use but not the z star or new callaway as i found them to be the same will the pro v 1x be the same of differant

i found provx to be harder ball. good for driving but prov1 better round green. imo stik with prov 1 as its the spin you need with second third shots etc

ProV1X is supposed to be more distance less spin than ProV1.

From what I remember from previous forum threads you hit the ball miles so I'd say it was a good shout to try the X for a couple of rounds.

Equivalents are supposed to be Z-StarX and Bridgestone B330. Not sure about other brands.

Try the Bridgestone 330RXS, it's a premium ball made for ameteur swing speeds.

ProV1x is loads better off the driver than the ProV1.

Also, its still great around the greens. I get more than enough check on my wedges and am able to control distance with it really well. that's what your after anyway, not the ability to spin it back.

Can't recommend the X version enough
