Now Ricky Fowler has signed up with Cobra and with the recent release of the orange AMP range just wondered if anybody had yet gone the whole hog and got the clubs/bag/shoes, maybe even the top and trousers to give it some orange on the fairways this year.

They obviously think people will buy it so would you? If the clubs were great could you out one in the bag?

Or what would you do / say if you saw someone wearing the full kit in the bar after the monthly medal. (serious ribbing I hope).

(I do quite like the tour bag to be honest....)

When we played at Thornbury recently there was a display in the shop of Puma clothing with a mannequin wearing white trousers, orange polo and electric blue tank top. Not a look that I reckon I could carry off and I reckon you'd better be pretty darn good at the game if you wanted to wear it.

I did buy an orange Greg Norman shirt, which is rather orange!

I did see a bloke with a few of his mates at Westerham last summer in FULL Fowler orange, plus sh*t cap! The funniest bit was watching him swagger purposefully down the 18th, to a drive of no more than 200 yards (downhill), lay up before the water, dump his approach into the water, drop and play sideways, chip on, and then three putt from 10 foot.

He then gave it large on the terrace when they were working out the scores, "Wicked! I've won with 99. Have it!".

Now nothing wrong with a 99 round Westerham, or anywhere else... UNLESS YOU'RE DRESSED LIKE RICKY FOWLER!!!

I doubt whether even those Forum Members famous for their Sartorial Elegance , like RickG, or Murph would go that far, Viscount wouldnt either, as he only does multi colours.

One of those looks that you can only pull off if you are very very good

Fragger

I can't stand the whole range, I think all the clubs, paticularly the irons, look hideous. And I wouldn't wear any of the clothing either. If the driver turned out to be a revelation to my game then I would probably stick it in the bag but I wouldn't touch those irons with a barge pole.

I really like some of the puma clothing and I love orange but I wouldnt have the balls to go out in full orange kit. Orange top maybe and one of the caps but couldnt do the trousers as well. I think some of the white and blue clothing is really nice to, may have to purchase some over the summer as puma make some good stuff.

Wouldn't wear the orange ensemble. Not beong a fan of Puma or Cobra gear the problem doesn't exist. Now if TM were to come out with something equally shocking and Adidas matched it in the clothing department then ..... no not even then. 45, bald and not playing well. Not much going for me and no chance of pulling the look off

As im sure Paul or Mullins will advise anyone, i picked up the cobra hoping to hate it, i lothe orange as a colour with a passion. But.... and its a big but, the trackman dont lie.

It was longer, had a more consistent flight, better feel, tighter dispersion and the best sound than anything else i hit, the only downside is the dam colour. the only thing that come close was the I20, but it was around 8 yards longer, had a better flight, and tighter dispersion by a good margin to make it the only choice.

Will do a full review tomorrow.
