H4H 'car boot' sale

Just putting this out there as an idea, I have loads of golf stuff in the garage that should really be cleared out but by the time you add on postage, ebay fees etc quite often it just isn't worth the effort. So how about a 'boot sale' at H4H where people can bring along stuff they want to get rid of and all proceeds go to the charity?

As an example, I've got an old set of Orka blades, a couple of Cleveland putters, a pair of Ping wedges, couple of Titleist 910 3 woods etc. None of these are worth a great deal of money but I'm sure people would be happy to bung a few quid into the pot for some of these items.

An old thread, but putting this here is as good as anywhere else.

Due to my elbow tendinitis I am having a few weeks off from golf. Because of the golf sabbatical the wife conned me into going to a car boot with her. Jeez, some folk really do sell/buy some tat. Better than putting it into landfill I suppose.

Its a good idea but I would be scared for the organisers being left with a lot of stuff at the end of the day. It would require the honesty of the forum members to make sure they reclaim and remove any unsold items to take the pressure of Rich and Vicky
