Hi everyone,

Were building up a nice list of prizes and auction items currently but we can never have enough as the more prizes and auctions items we can gather, the more money is raised towards our chosen Help for Heroes Charity Day.

So I will continue to nudge and ask ask you lovely people of the forum to help us obtain as many items as possible which we can use for a variety of prizes or auction items for when we all gather at Hankley Common in September.

They do not necessarily need to be golf related.

As I have mentioned in the main thread, please don't contact any manufacturers or brands direct as I have done that myself personally and we don't want to pepper them with requests. If you do have a direct contact at any of them though please contact me via PM to discuss.

However, please do ask your club or Pro for something, your club for a fourball voucher or simply donate something yourself that you may have won or just want to give to us as a donation however small (sleeve of balls/bottle of wine etc).

If you do ask your club for a voucher please get them to date it from the 13th September 2017 and if they can, validate it for 12 months as this receives a higher value as it can be used to play during the summer months next year.

When you receive the voucher please let me know what restrictions there are, if any, such as 5 or 7-day, ladies day restrictions, telephone for booking etc.

Anything you obtain from any source I will acknowledge them on all social media platforms.

I really don't care if it's a sleeve of balls, bottle of wine, a cap or a dirty weekend in Dubai with Rachel Riley, hand them over please.

If I see any of you before the H4H day I will collect them off you, if not, I will be sending out reminders to you all to bring them along on the day if attending, if you're not attending you'll have to post/get them to me.

The fourball vouchers that will conclude BEFORE the day have now all been listed so please lets see some bidding activity on them.

They all have starting prices well below what you could play the course for, even as a member guest, so don't be shy and lets raise some money for them whilst acknowledging the forumites that have obtained them for us and give respect to the clubs that have donated them to us.

The other fourballs I have will be listed on the forum 1 week before the day and will conclude on the day in the early evening auction after we have played Hankley Common.

However, Richart & I will accept commission/telephone bids (number can be supplied) and I will bid on your behalf on the day if you are unable to attend the golf but don't want to miss out on any of the action.

The prizes listed also will be put up for auction on here 1 week prior to the day also and conclude at Hankley Common, again bids can be given in your absence.

The next auctions I shall start to list will be the 3-Ball Hosting. These are simply where a forumite has generously offered to guest 3 visitors to their own course and host (pay) for your round.

There is still plenty of time should you be able to obtain a voucher or host anyone at your club to help raise funds for our Charity Day in aid of Help for Heroes.
