Anyone ever played in this?

Interesting concept, £30 in then reduced fees for 2 and 3 off £25 and £19 respectively. Runs fro end Oct to Mar and your 2 best Stableford scores 1 from each course count and the winner gets a £100 voucher plus the trophy.

It's for fat taxi drivers, you lads would not get in cos you don't drive a taxi.

It was mentioned to me last night Hendo, runs every week apparently and not off mats or winter tees.

Can't say I have ever seen mats or winter tees at Gullane Martin. Play there quite a lot in the winter and even days where it's been -6 it's not been winter tees or mats.

My mate is a member there, I can ask about the Kiwi if you like?

It was on their website last year, sure it's a weekly thing on a Thursday maybe?May be wrong with the day mind you but you most certainly will not be on mats or winter greens.

Admittedly last years competition, but it surely tells you all you need to know about it.

If I remember, the visitor's green fees in winter are £25 at weekends anyway, so why bother with the comp?

£36 for 2 and £26 for 3 and after 11.36am according to their website.

Comps are always good through the close season too even if non qualifiers.

Del reading through your post it seems it's a hand your score in whenever you feel like comp, surely open to jiggery pokery.
