grips in store

is it just me but isn,t a surprise that you cannot physically check out the wide range of specialist grips available. yes you can buy them with ease on the net, but with something as important as the grip that you want to get right, well, i for one want to feel them first. lamkin uk cannot tell me where i can go to see first hand thier range!!!!

The problem is most "stores" are multi franchise and are only interested in the quick profit stuff, half of the the shops if not dont even regrip clubs. I fear your going to have to look for a specialist pro shop at a decent course to view a range of grips.

Went into AG to ask about purchasing new grips. The chap got a tatty cardboard box out from under the counter with a few different grips, but no more than about 3 of any type.

I was also advised that if I wanted AG to regrip them it would take a week....FFS where are they sending them!!

Stick to a local pro or buy online.

I buy them online (eBay for Mizzy branded Golf Pride's ) and get my local pro/range to fit them. Perfect.

I have to say our proshop keeps around 15 different types of putter grip (if not more) and a similar amount of styles for woods/irons.
