to be fair i agree with alex, hes not acting like a keyboard warrior, hes made a judgement on what you have written not made any threats just called it as he sees it.

unfortunately your avatar does make you look a tit and for them to make you a mod and act like this by stirring things up and also making stupid comments on things not related to the subject matter.

Do the job properly as thats what you applied for and act a bit more responsibly just because you have the moderator sign next to your name doesnt mean people will give you the respect of one til you earn it.

Whilst those of you who stupidly continue to fuel Skys ever growing net of Sports coverage by paying for their various packages, you will continue to deny the rest of us who do not want to pay extra, the chance to watch something we used to get for just paying the licence fee.

Cheers !

Why am I stupid to have Sky sports? I can afford it, and it is pretty much all I ever watch.

Strangely, I still have to pay for the BBC, which I almost never watch, so I am still subsidising your viewing of programmes I am not interested in.

I would be quite happy if every single programme went pay per view.

Why stupidly? They have allowed me to watch many events that bbc would never of kept showing or wanted to show. That has meant I have not had to purchase tickets to go watch every sporting event that I want to watch. Hence saving me a shed load of money I think you will find.

Again why should we pay for something you watch that we never watch, same thing applies both ways. If you want to watch something dont want to pay sky then go pay for a ticket to the event and I am sure that will cost a lot more in the long run?

I would have no problem paying for (advert break) Sky. Indeed, they show a lot of (advert break) sport that I would never normally get (advert break) to see. But what bugs me is the amount of (advert break) .......................................I think I've made my (advert break) point.

HEHE this made me chuckle.... in general I have to agree, I go to my buddy's place for some of the golf and we pause it, have dinner and a smoke then watch some golf so we can watch it without the adds.

Without doubt, SKY's coverage of football and cricket is top notch. No-one comes close.

Just think of the things that SKY have introduced to improve the viewer's experience.

I love watching SKY sports - unfortunately, at £21 a month and with a young family, I never watched it so I gave it up. If money was no object then I'd have it back in a flash.

Their golf coverage is a bit ropey. Roe's dress sense used to make my eyes bleed!!

I'm not an F1 fan but I reckon they'll do a good job and the armchair fans will love it.

The sad fact about the BBC is that whenever they throw huge sums at a sporting event, they always get deluged with complaints from 'Angry of Tunbridge Wells' who's incensed that the Chelsea Flower Show doesn't get the same level of expenditure and coverage.

Also, F1 is proper boring. All the cars look the same, they all drive way above the speed limit and there's no etiquette..

I'll be gutted if it interferes with the golf coverage. As for F1 I used to love it in the days of Senna, Prost & Mansell but now think it is the most boring sport on tv, and I include darts and snooker in that statement. The only time a race has any excitement is when it rains.
