Got my first handicap

So after finally getting my three cards in I got my first ever official handicap this morning!! After rounds of 115, 116 & 105 I got a 26. Pleased as punch as only expecting 28. I had set myself a target of getting down to 24 by the end of June so half way there already! Just had to share it with someone!

Ye he will, 26 shots given, only 18 holes of golf, there will be aq few holes he wont get 2 shots on.


Grats on the handicap sir, dont add too much presure on yourself now though, just enjoy and it will come.

I have to ask, I have wanted to since you joined the forum. Do you have a child called Eve? I mean I am sure you do, but it is an odd thing to call yourself. Ones own identity is very important imo, your not just her dad, your you!

Yes i do and also another now called Tess, being sad it all dates back to when the ps2 went online. I couldn't think of anything that didn't sound stupid so whacked it in, thinking I'll change it later, you couldn't! I also have the memory of a goldfish so I use it for everything, which I know is not wise!! I'm me I know that, it's just an online name and something a simpleton like me can remember, just don't tell me youngest I don't want her to be jealous!!

Well done matey. Good starting point and now you've got something to aim for in competitions. Enjoy the challenge of getting it down. If you don't get to 20 by the end of the year we're telling your youngest about the user name
