I think it's a useful option, especially if you are planning on going somewhere you haven't been before. You can drop down to street level and get good bearings and landmarks to look for as you get there.

That's what I thought. Just looking to book a holiday, but the private apartment we are after seems a bit edge of townish for our liking. Unfortunatly streetview hasnt come to Turkey yet, as it would be invaluable.
