Is anyone's golf course /club on google street view yet?
The van that does this must have stopped about 50yds from mine so you can't see it.
Fortunately my house isn't on it yet either, and when it is I will be reporting it to get it taken off.
Anyone else got any views on this new developement from Google?

I don't think anyone would look at my house in particular, I would rather that option wasn't available to them that's all.
If they're that interested then they can make the effort and come and see it for themselves.
These things can see over 6ft fences into people's gardens. Those fences were put up for a reason.

I don't give a stuff about it. It isn't like I have a neon sign saying murph lives here. In fact, if they give me advanced notice, I might strike a naked pose in the garden for a laugh.

I do find it funny they are blanking out the faces of people in billboard adverts though.

It is not something I will be looking at, but I don't object to it either. I would have thought the one way to get noticed on it would be to have your house blanked out. It wouldn't surprise me if you start getting google tourists who spend their time visiting blanked out spots, in order to upload their own photos instead (you can apparently still do this).

So, Let's get this straight then.
You don't mind someone coming and taking photographs of your property, garden, kids playing, car, in your front window, then posting these photographs on the internet for all and sundry to see without your permission?
Have I got that right?

I don't get why they are doing it tbh, they've not done my Town as yet.

Woman at works house is on and you can see right into her living room.

Not sure I like that idea.

My house was on this, clear as day, together with my car and its number plate. I have reported this to Google and they are "investigating".
