Good Morning & Hello . . .

Good Morning People,

Been lurking in the background for a while thought i would introduce myself. . .

Been Playing golf seriously (every saturday morning) for last 4 months and i am hooked and shooting High 90's & low 100's at the moment. . . figured at least i am getting my money's worth out of the courses

Joing a club next friday though and hope to drastically bring my scores down but no rush. . . just enjoying it!!

The great thing is the girlfriend is encouraging me to join a club as it will save us money in the long run . . . for once the credit crunch is helping me out!!

Welcome to the Forum mate.

My Mrs was the same, she was moaning about me spending £28 every Sunday for a round, so I joined and it works out at about £12 a week. Everyone's a winner !

The thing is, how long will it be before your other half get's on your back about spending too much time on the GM Forum ??

Collingtree Park Golf Club . . . 2 minutes from my door literally and a really nice course with an island Green 18th hole, which is overlooked by the clubhouse . . . quite daunting!

Island green? Not a proper golf hole that. Mickey Mouse.
They are easy peasy.... you can play them with a chipper
