My old mate Roger has got to go in for an operation next week.
Not life threatening, but will hopefully make a big improvement to his enjoyment of the game.
He's one of the nicest blokes I've ever met, and was one of the first guys I played golf with after joining the forum 7 years ago.
If you have ever met him/played with him, you'll know he is one of life's gentlemen.
Really do wish you well Rog, and hope that the recovery is quick, as pain free as it can be, and I want to see you out on the golf course again in double quick time mate.
Rob

Only met him once - poor bloke was having to put up with Smiffy all day long - really nice guy

Get well soon

All the very best Roger. See if they can turn you into a 'rightie' whilst they are at it.:) I promise when you are fit again I will come over to Sundridge.

All the best Roger - hope it all goes well for you and that you're back on out on the fairway soon.

Roger is an absolutely blinding fella and I've had a few rounds with him as they always seem to pair us up so at least I get to play with an older codger than me from time to time!

I can reveal that the operation is not to turn him right handed but a clue is that he will be playing off the Reds in future I understand!
