Good to see Brian Davis leading going into the final round.

It would be great to see another Englishman win on the PGA Tour and after what happened a few weeks ago he is more deserving than any. May I be the 1st to wish him the very best of luck.

(I wonder how many times we'll see a replay of the hazard incident during the coverage?)

I'll echo what's gone before and say he deserves it for his honesty, not for his play, you have to earn victory and I hope that he earns it today.

It would give Monty a mother of all headaches if Davies forced his way into the Ryder Cup reckoning as well.

I heard an interview with Monty the other day and he was saying that there is now a "B" team of players that has emerged which are good enough to beat his "A" team of players. We do seem to be in a lucky position at the moment and I see that Luke Donald has now re-entered the Worlds top 10!

Strange player is Davis. He misses a lot of cuts, 7 so far in 14 starts on the PGA Tour and 2 realistic chances to win. There doesn't seem to be very much middle ground with him.

He would certainly give Monty a headache if he made it to the team as you can never say he's in good form week to week. He could be brilliant or terrible.
