golfball longevity

Crow - plenty ob but not so much water as its a linksy course.
Brendy - guess I meant to say can't really rip a wedge can only get a couple of feet buckskin on full wedge shots so probably not causing as much damage as the likes of you or feary. Must cost a fortune in balls ripping it like that!?

A couple of rounds, then into the practice bag. They probably still perform, but I like playing with a shiny ball, not some scuffed up rubbish.

After 21 rounds my ball (prov1x) is a bit knackered but is still playing perfectly

I could lose more balls than that even if I was PUTTING it round! Probably a world record! Do you hit it more than 10 feet?

Scores are needed!! :p

If you had used a Bridgestone you would have got another dozen rounds.

im still using my dunlop 65i :D

"Yip, they sure do fly!"

Talk about hanging onto balls for a long time

Was asked to join a 4 ball with a couple of Japanese customers who are golf mad last year. Our sales guy pulled out some old commandos which he had in the bag. I thought it was a joke but it really wasn't!! I hit one just to see how it went and it was like a rock!

Fortunately he lost most of em in the trees which prompted the jibe that as they were commandos they were going for cover. The customers were most amused - the sales guy wasn't!!

No smiffy not scottish, much worse - yorkshire!! The orange peel makes my pockets smell lovely for a few days then rank for the next month.

After 21 rounds my ball (prov1x ) is a bit knackered but is still playing perfectly, spinning on approach shots and distance off driver not affected. My scoring has actually got better as well.

Proof, if ever it was needed, that the prov1x is a far better choice of ball for most golfers than the prov1, and that some people can't read :p
