Having played a really hilly course on Friday and looking with envy at one of my partners trolley (it was a Powakaddy twinline 3), I thought I would have a look at them and possibly buy one. Not for every round, but for some and at least then I will have the option.

So looked at Direct Golf and also American Golf online. Went into their store at New Malden after yesterdays round and saw that they one on sale. It;s the Masters icart one trolley at only £99! £60 off the rrp and £20 less than the Powakaddy. I tried it out, it's literally one click release and lightweight. Dont have the exact details but feels ever so slightly lighter than the Twinline 3

Dont know if it's been mentioned on here before, but if anyone fancies a look, heres the link:

Cant wait to try it out tomorrow now..

I saw them as well, they also looked good, but for the price and build quality I couldnt look past the one I bought.

I dont think I'll be using it every round anyway but I suppose I will for the first few as I'll be like a kid with a new toy :-D

Jez, can you post a review of this please, my acl is giving me grief and I don't want the faffing of an electrical trolley

Yea, of course mate. I'm playing tomorrow morning so will post a review afterwards. Youre not far from me anyway, so if you fancy looking before buying etc, gimme a shout and we can meet up somewhere if you like?

Whats acl tho?

Especially for Oddsocks ;-)

So i used my trolley for the first time yesterday. Played witha couple of mates at a wet and windy Mitcham.

I bought a detachable umbrella holder too, so I fixed this to the handle and insterted my umrella (ooerr missus)
What a great idea this was! kept everything dry, and apart from a huge gale around the 16th when it turned inside out it was fantastic.

The trolley really is lightweight and simple to fold/unfold. No messing around with wheels, simply unfold and your ready to use.

I would imagine that it really will help the pressure on your knee. All you have to worry about is walking and taking a shot. There is no pressure on your back from carrying etc and you should stay fresh for the whole round.

I cant recommend it enough mate. You wont go far wrong if you decide to buy it. You then have options too, so wouldnt have to use every round if you didnt want to.

Oddsocks I've had a knee reconstruction I snapped my acl and I can assure you it makes it a hell of a lot easier on my knee now when I use my leccy trolley but I do carry in winter but wouldn't consider carrying in summer also have more energy on the closing holes
