I was thinking of giving up using my notebook for keeping my scores and stats, and getting some software. Does anyone use this software and if so what ones? Need one for my scores, round stats and practice info.

The best one in my opinion is scoresaver 2. It'll give you everything you need and the information is qucikly and easily noted down at the same time as filling the scorecard in on each hole. You can download it for a month and then its a one off hit of £39.99. However if you PM SS2 he might do you a deal (its his baby).
It will let you collect stats, record practice sessions and even lesson details. Try it and see. There are quite a few on here apart fromme that rate it

Must agree with Homer on this one an excellent tool for those of us who want to know our stats, and with a month of free use to see if this is the one for you I will be surprise if you dont buy it.

I think I'll give it a try over this month. No competitions, but hopefully plenty of practice and games in the Sat & Sun sweeps (Weather permitting). If I like it i'll then start in earnest from 1st January, always nice to have new start for the new year.

I had already written a SS2 review which I posted over yesterday (surprised and a bit fed up its not on todays list) which goes into a bit more detail about the system
