Bugs the life out of me. I picked a guy up 3 times for it in last weeks comp! Everytime his response was oh I didn’t see it! My reply was you saw where it landed so why not start looking there!
He got the point and eventually started repairing them but doubt he will again when playing with others.
That's my natural shot
. Can't do a fade or a draw to order but straight is what I hit 90% of the time. I can give you a load of harder shots for me, long ones for starters

My mentality is, if I can't find my pitchmark, I just repair someone else's. That way I'm still covered and haven't made the green any worse. It's very rarely the case that you can't find any pitchmarks at all.

I’m like you in this regard.
While I’m waiting for others to putt it gives me something to do as well.
Especially if on the green and they are chipping on.
As long as well out of their way of course.

No issue with this, you made an attempt to find yours and you couldn’t but you repaired another one therefore the efforts been made and some good has been done. The issue I have is with those that make no attempt but still moan about the state of greens and pitch marks. .

Pitched onto the front of our 9th green yesterday...the ball rolled about 20 yards down the slopes.
We enter the green from the far side due to paths and the first thing I did was find the pitchmark at the front of the green.
If I'd left it there's a chance I may have forgotten after watching Fragger 3 putt....found about 3 more up there....

On holes with back pins we always have lots of pitch marks on the front. It’s worse when the trolley path sends people round the side of the green. And always worse on Tuesday.

It makes me laugh when you get people looking around the hole for a pitch mark.
You just hit a 7 wood from 140 yards that never reached more than 6 feet in height. Try 40 feet back and you might be a bit closer

I posted that, it’s normally no more than bunkers not raked properly, last night was a disgrace, one bunker about 50 foot long by 8 foot wide had 3 different sets of footprints and attempt to play the ball!
