Golf Random Irritations

We're staying at Aphrodite Hills, never played it when we stayed here before so wanted to tick it off. They're doing a deal which is €90 euros with club hire.

That’s the one course there I haven’t played, but looked lovely when we had a nosey round the resort.

I played Secret Valley when it was just the two of us, enjoyed that one. Two kids now so she's got an excuse not to come with.

I’ve played both incarnations of Secret Valley - the older one, higher up the valley, and the newer layout down near the road. Loved them both. Really friendly place to play golf.

Yeah for sure, looked massive from green to tee when I had a mooch before.
I seem to remember that after leaving one green there was a sign saying something like 1.4km to the next tee. Also you have to go down a series of hairpins to from one green to the next tee, seriously not fun in a buggy with dodgy brakes. Fun course though.

Ah can you. Suppose that is the point of a live leaderboard shame there isn’t an option to make the leaderboard available to view after finalisation of the score in the app
Yes you can see the leaderboard in IG. Just go to your finalised scorecard and then you should be able to see the leaderboard too.

Pro's Day.jpg

I felt OK on Tuesday and managed to get 3rd best net in Division 1 and £20 credit.

But I'm not so comfortable about tomorrow. I feel there is something missing.

Me and my two playing partners have kept a cumulative total of our stableford scores for the season, they're dead level after 13.5 rounds and I'm 30 points back.
The winner gets taken for a curry for free at the end of September, so we've called it the Race to Karai. Going to have to start asking for 3 rounds a week now.

Paired with fella playing "left handed" in today's comp. There is literally no need for it, it just looks stupid and puts everyone else off.
I swing the normal way and feel my right hand controls the swing. My mate feels the left hand controls it. No reason the play backwards.

Managed to trap a nerve in my left elbow a week ago. Painful at first it seemed to have calmed down by Wednesday only to come back with worse pain than ever on Thursday. It's still very painful to move the arm and I had to cancel playing in an Open (Beau Desert) yesterday. I am going to have to withdraw from another three opens next week unless there is a miraculous recovery :(

I've booked to see a physiotherapist on Monday morning to see if there is anything that can be done

Literally not, name another sport where they make "left handed' equipment?

Starting any sentence with 'literally" should be a 14 day ban. 😉😉 (Unless you are 4)

Even so. Other sports with left handed equipment?

Cricket (batting gloves and pads) Fishing, (Reels) Archery (bows) and Rifle shooting. That's just off the top of my head.
