Ordered some shoes .. I had permission for this based on my ones were knackered.. so that’s okay.
But being a risk taker I ordered a dozen balls .. this is very controversial as my wife thinks any old ball will do and I should use everything until I lose it .. so I am going to get some “advice” if she finds out..
she is out .. the post is due .. but will they save me from the “advice” session?

You need to accidentally "lose" all of the balls that you no longer want to play with. You could lose them on the practice range, or at a charity shop.Oh that’s a damn good one

I have 2 dozen new and mildly used randoms ready to send to my nephew who bought some complete
off eBay. They were older than me, and I remember playing with titleist balatas - so I am no youngster. I do on occasion hit some balls off down the range but is when they are 70+ holes used .. or in the Snell Prime 2 case brand new because they were appalling!

If you're skint enough to actually need sign-off on golf balls, maybe you shouldn't be playing.
If you need her permission to spend money, well that opens up a whole can of worms. Many of which are none of our business....

Eastwood was the one that was truncated by the motorway, but you'll find East Ren has changed a bit since you last played. Certainly a lot less trees.

My regular pairs partner got cut in the same week that I got an increase. It's the first time since we've been playing together that he's been lower than me. Obviously I'm happy for him... Sort of...
