Golf Random Irritations

I find that I don't feel as "connected" to the round if I'm in a buggy - have used one abroad when it's roasting but when I used one in the UK, just couldn't get into the round, as it was just 'hit & drive'
I get this. If you do somehow absolutely nail a tee shot there’s something intrinsically very satisfying about the length of the walk striding down the fairway.

Stresses me out. There is only one reason why there is a six month span on the vouchers and that is because when they expire the club pro gains by pocketing the money that has not been spent.
I think next season may well only enter comps by putting in a supplementary card. 👍
As Citizen Smith said “ Power to the people “ 😂👍

All seems very poor management by the club

It’s very simple for us

Two methods -any voucher that is won goes either onto your bar card or into the pro shop

The pro then puts it onto your pro shop account

But the pro can’t claim the money back from the voucher from the club until it’s used

If the club is giving the pro the money before the voucher is even spent then that’s poor club management

So I have had a response from
The club.

Thank you for your email.
For stock control and cashflow purposes as a business, there has to be an expiry, otherwise people would be using vouchers that were a few years old.
As a matter of interest, how long would you like it to be?

My reply was I think a year should be fine.
