Golf instruction from a different angle!

:mmm:.......

Came across this by complete accident......Interesting but im not really qualified to know if he is right or wrong:whistle:

I have absolutely no qualification in paper folding... or golf for that matter but he certainly goes the long winded (and confusing) way to saying "Don't hang back on your right side".

Saying that you need to swing more 'upright' is just wrong, and probably confusing.. talking about the left hip coming forward (when it's the right hip that goes back) is also wrong.... however the things he 'kinda' waffles on about are correct.

If you resist with the right hip, the right knee and hang back then you're more likely to hurt your back UNLESS you compensate by having a more traditional 2 PLANE swing where you do a lot of lifting with the arms instead of rotating... which I (personally) wouldn't recommend anyway as it's harder to swing that way consistently.
