Titleist have changed since the traditional 'better players' club and are worth a shot. I can't look past Ping when it comes to fairways and hybrids. I have an Anser 20 degree and it's superb. May be more of a low launch than you want but the G25 would be the higher option to look at.

not read all the replies and am late to the party here. Aeroburner. I bought the #4 yesterday, #3 was too long for what i want. Launches like crazy, long and very little run!

So many good ones over the years. PIng G25, Cobra Baffler DWS etc but the question for the OP I have is if he's not getting on with the current model what makes him think simply getting another one (fun though getting new gear is) will make a difference

Evening all just got back from the range and I'm the proud owner of something new.....

I tested callaway Xr. Ping g30. Nike vapor flex. Adams pro. Titliest 915. TM aeroburner.

Initially tried regualr flex shafts on advice of the guy, the ball ballooned like crazy landing at 175 yards so got stiff shafts in all of the above clubs.

The ping and titliest seemed to be massively draw biased, I literally couldn't stop hooking them.

The adams was a nice club, a little dull sounding and the looks personally weren't for me but it went straight albeit not very long.

So that left the aeroburner. Vapor and Xr......

The Xr is a lovely looking club. Nice sound. lovely high launch and good to shape in both directions. A good safe club for me if I hadn't found something better.

The aeroburner is another great club. Really high launch. Good distance. Not a fan of the whiteness though . Couldn't shape it like the Xr but then again how often do I need to shape my hybrids.

The vapor was just on another planet. Absolutely huge launch. Huge distance and could shape it both ways. Awesome sound and looks amazing behind the ball. I couldn't fault the club. Even the grip was blooming lovely!

So i'm now the owner of the vapor 3 hybrid. The Xr a close second albeit shorater that wouldn't fit the gapping I'm looking for.

Am happy to answer moré questions on the club's. .. I'm writing this on my phone so can't be bothered to type any longer!

Good man, you know it makes sense! As I said in my earlier post, I love mine and interesting you found your experience similar to my own.

Now come on Nike! Where's my commission!😄😄
