Going even lower[how many two"s]

Having been working hard on my short game lately,even some putting practice.
Today i shot 74 gross,3 putted from 6ft on the 2nd.
Started bogey,double bogey.
However i had 4 birdies 3 of them being twos.
With 2 twos yesterday,thats certainly boosted the coffers.
Looking at a cut thats going to make my handicap my lowest ever.
Whats the most twos you have had?

Well played that man. I think the most I have had is 2 but I haven't had any for a while. I've been playing the par 3s like a total knob of late.

Totally know what you mean hawkeye, am exactly the same. Just lose shots on my par 3's every week. The most 2's I've shot is 1 !!!!

Only ever had 2 x 2's in a round
But once in a Texas Scramble we had 5 x 2's..........cleaned up both sweep pots that day

Birdied the 17th/18th at my 1st club Ryton.....but the 17th is a par 4 so cant count that................otherwise only ever done 1 in 1 game..........birdies are a rarity...............ALTHOUGH today got a H.I.T. on our par 3 4th in the comp..............was playing 140 to the back of green where the pin was.......hit a lovely 7 iron 6 foot left of the pin....and birdied my putt....should be in the money with that...............pity the rest of my game was garbage..................highly disallusioned

Well done Poker Joe, good to see the handicap is coming down steadily.

The lowest scores I have managed were 60 and 62 in bounce games nearly forty years ago. [Par 68 and 69 courses] Lowest competitive score was 67. I also played with a Pro who shot a 59 in a bounce game on an Open Qualifier course [Par72]

I scored seven threes on the trot in one game and had three two's in the other.
Low scores are generally made by a good run of birdies or at least two two's.

Bit like Hawkeye I've been playing our par 3's like king of the knobs and not threatened a 2 in weeks. Can't remember the last time I had two twos in a round

As for 2's... most I've had in one round is 1
We only have 3 x par 3's though.

I had 4 2s in a round once, on a course with 5 par-3s. Had a decent chance on the other one too. Got a few £ from the 2s comp.
