Another cheeky 1-0 win for the mighty Eagles today!

The last six games has seen us take 9 points from a possible 18.....

Plus, we're five points clear of the relegation zone!

We're on the march with Dougie's army.....

Cracking goal too!!

I was at the Leeds v Norwich game yesterday and it is one of the best games I've seen in a long time,2 attacking teams with a fair bit of quality about them as well.

Bugger your Premiership football!

One thing you're always guaranteed from the Championship is excitement.

The league is so competative that the final day is normally an excellent day for the neutral fan as teams at the top and bottom are fighting for something.

I'd still like to see the Palace in the Premiership though - where they rightfully belong.. :D

We also equalled the longest run without conceding a goal - 7 games - gowan you boys!

I went up 2 weeks ago for the match v Middlesborough and we looked pretty sharp up front with Easter, Ambrose, Saha and the very impressive Vaughan.

Do you ever get to go Dave?

Alas, I don't go at all anymore. There are a number of reasons, I don't live near the ground anymore, I struggle to pay £30 for a ticket and, perhaps most importantly, I'd rather play golf.

Throughout the 90s Selhurst was like a second home for me (and Wembley..) but then I met the Wife, moved out of the area and went back to golf. With my golf subs of >£100 a month, I can't then fork out the money to see the Eagles.

Me and my mates always talk about taking in a game but with one thing and another, it never happens.

I only go once in a while, although my son and I had season tickets during our last adventure in the Premiership. I live in Ashford these days and agree with you about the difficulties in going.

I was born and bought up there and lived in Thorton Heath and Shirley and went to Whitehorse Primary as well as Stanley Tech in South Norwood. I have seen the Mighty Eagles in most of their play off games as well as the FA Cup Final and other Wembley games.

Football! -I thought you'd got your invite to the big wedding. :)

Yeah, I like to be down with the commoner, serf

I have!! How do you know that??

Actually, you can help me - I'm undecided on my colour scheme. I'm torn between Fuscia Coral and Mink Lilac Taffeta. What do you reckon?? :p

My parents live in Ashford.

I saw them versus Leicester () and Sheffield United - Bomber Hopkins curling one beautifully into the top corner sending the Palace massive into derision and breaking the Sheffield United fan's hearts. I knew exactly how they felt.

I'd followed them over land and sea (and Brighton) for the whole season so to see Claridge nail one from 30 yards and Martyn slip was too much to bare.

The best Palace song for me is:

You are my Palace, my only Palace
You make me happy when skies are grey
You'll never know just how much I love you
Until you've taken my Palace away!

We're not the best team, we've not got the best ground.
We're inaccessible and the ground creates no atmosphere
But I've got so, so many memories of that great, Mecca-like place that it makes me smile just thinking about it.

Norbury, dear boy, Norbury..

I could see the Halogen glow of the Selhurst floodlights from my bedroom window..and hear the roar of the faithful from my garden..

Chris, if you are Leftie's Dad then you'll be about 150 years old...

Could be, did his mother go to the Lady Edridge Girls grammar School about 150 years and 9 months ago??

Dad. This is now getting a bit surreal.

My mate Peter and I used to go up to L.E. some lunchtimes (we were at Selhurst) to watch and chat to the girls through the chain link fencing. I suppose I was trying to find a girl like mum.

Having said that, I never saw mum playing netball in her navy blue knickers with a hankie tucked into the pocket and.......

Nurse! Nurse! My medication please. NOW !!!
