Go Kart Electric Trolley

Quality product, quality service....as everyone else with half a brain cell on here has said already.

That being said, getting a bit stingy in my old age so have opted to sell mine on once the current battery dies and have recently acquired a Motocaddy S1 Lite from a friend at the cost of a free hair cut from my wife, so I've shelled out nothing for it and I won't have to pay out for a battery every couple of years.

Just got one last year, the auto model with a 36 hole lithium battery and I love it.

Plus points :
It's perfect for 36 hole comps, light, folds up small

(Minor) negatives: no brake, tips over fairly easily on a slight incline, awkward to put away into the travel bag, can't use it if you forget your battery.

Definitely would recommend one and the company and after sales are superb.

Just to add, this is with the hedgehog wheels, the standard wheels are much more sturdy.

And just like that, he disappears without an response to anyone. I guess you've either had a bad experience or own / work for a rival?

Dufferman, I'm gonna presume that you come on this thing every day but just so you know, I don't. Do folk actually come on this every day? I know that the guy Liverpool Phil was all over this like a rash and I seriously thought that he was either addicted or he had nobody to talk to other than a computer page.

Anyway, I have no experience at all with the GoKart and I never will have! I did see someone using one once so they do sell up here, good for him, he was maybe buying cheap which is fine or having an Eco Friendly attitude that when it packs in he can shove it in his recycling bin.

Question - With any trolley, why would you bother fixing something after say 3, 4 or 5 years when you can just go and buy another one?

So you buy expensive stuff then bin it after a few years? Must be nice living in your world

Mmmm...

I don't disagree ... Right now I've got a FW5 with a Lithium battery. If say in the next year I need to get it sorted I probably/possibly would but if it's say 4 years old I would toss it and buy another, nothing wrong with that. It's a 5 hundred quid trolley, nothing more and it wouldn't be owe me anything, binned!

You do realise there are guys on this forum that have to think twice about a 20 quid round at the local mun?

One of my friends have one & he has had few issues with it but he wanted something cheap, a bit like his car it's a Skoda

Ha, well that's 2 then because I seen one, awful looking thing but there it was on the end of a budget golfer.
Hmmm, and re the Skoda ... I wouldn't ever consider having one, I don't even know if I've seen one, not for donks anyway.

You say the GoKart is 'worse than Lego' and yet you freely admit to having 'no experience' with one?!

Happy to give you my opinion on Motorcaddy, Stewart, Powercaddy, etc., but it would be worthless as I've never used them. :D

When I did a review a few years back with GM testing the Powacaddy touch it too tipped over on a slight incline and I for one cant see that as a "minor" problem as to me there is not much worse than seeing your trolley tipped over with the possibility of damaging your clubs.

I do agree though not having a break is a pain as my Motocaddy has not got one and on a hilly course that's something that I would like.

I think the addition of a brake would somewhat alleviate the tipping tendencies, as usually when it tips over its because I've had to park it across the slope as there's no brake to stop it running away if I parked it directly up or downhill.

Thanks guys, looks like almost everyone praises these, will definitely look into them more. I am always amazed though how these simple threads about leccy trollies can turn into slanging matches. Thanks.
