Hey guys

Just wondering does anyone have any experience of the Go Kart Electric Trolley? Am pondering an electric one and love the look of these, they are well priced and all reviews online are positive, would just like an opinion of someone who has actually used one?

Thanks

Z

I've had one for about 5 years and they do everything I want of a trolley at a reasonable price. What they are good at is their exceptional after care back up and service - second to none in my opinion and owned and run by real nice people

I bought mine in 2008, it's had some issues as all mechanical things will but considering the mileage it's done it's been exceptionally reliable. It recently had a a snapped wire so I sent it back, they replaced almost every internal part to the latest spec and put a new 2 year warranty on it for £120.
The company's aftersales service is the best I have ever come across.

I've had mine a few years, A+ customer service. Last month I had an issue with the bar holding the front wheel, they sent a free replacement first class the next day.

My Dad's had one for aaaaaaages, still going strong.

All sounds good guys thank you. One question I also should have asked at the start would be can you fit a staff bag on them? Does anyone use a staff bag on one? The wife is hopefully getting me a staff bag soon and wanna ensure it will fit before buying. Thanks

I'd can recommend the gokart bag too.

Excellent trolley and even better after sales service. It will take a large staff bag but if I was you (or your wife) be careful as a lot of tour bags when you put them on a trolley will make it impossible to get to some of the pockets. There are some that are designed (cut away) to fit on a trolley. This Titleist version shows what I mean http://www.onlinegolf.co.uk/titleist/equipment/trolley-cart-bags

I have not seen a Lego golf trolley, have you?
You really are talking nonsense in my opinion , as an owner for the last 7 years I have never been other than satisfied by mine.
No bells, whistles or fancy gismos.
What is your experience using one?

Worse than Lego but if you're buying cheap then that's what you get.

Typical blinkered view from someone who probably likes to be ignored by manufacturers when their product goes wrong, and who prefers everything to be made in China and have a stupid mark up on it.

Go Kart are an excellent British company, making in this country, who make a different looking trolley and who provide probably some of the best customer service around to their customers. They may be cheap looking, but their quality of product and backup is anything but.

I have a GoKart and I'd give it a qualified recommendation. The trolley itself has always worked well and when I did have one issue which was with the battery, they lived up to their reputation and replaced it without any issues under warranty.

Only two things that would make me think before buying another are
1) The lack of a brake. I play on a very hilly course and that's actually a big issue.
2) The low height of the handle. It isn't the end of the world but when I put the brolly holder on and a full size umbrella, I'm still having to duck my head down quite a bit to see where I'm going. I'm not especially tall so anyone approaching 6' is going to have a problem there.

That's about the 5th or 6th post in the last couple of months where you've slagged off Go-Kart.
Two serious questions....

1) Have you ever owned one?
2) Have Go-Kart done something to upset you?

I've used a Go-Kart since 2008.
Now on my 2nd one (I traded up to get the automatic version).
In all that time I have had a couple of minor (and I do mean minor) niggles.
Both were sorted out immediately, with no fuss, and at no cost to myself.
So 8 years of Gokart ownership has cost me absolutely nothing.
If I have ever needed to contact them I have found their responses both immediate and helpful.
I find your constant sniping at the company and their product a little puzzling so therefore ask the two questions above, as there has to be a reason for it.

Had one for over 5 years and have replaced the battery once.
Recently upgraded to automatic and changed to lithium when they were on offer at Xmas.
Any minor issues sorted free over the phone, excellent customer service.

Only one niggle, I struggle to get it in the travel bag , even though they gave me the new larger one. I wish they'd just made it square.

Just got one last year, the auto model with a 36 hole lithium battery and I love it.

Plus points :
It's perfect for 36 hole comps, light, folds up small

(Minor) negatives: no brake, tips over fairly easily on a slight incline, awkward to put away into the travel bag, can't use it if you forget your battery.

Definitely would recommend one and the company and after sales are superb.
