GM forum crashing my browser

Hi folks,
Does anyone else have an issue with the GM forum crashing their browser? It's only started recently (within the last fortnight).
Do any mods know if something has changed in this timeframe that could be causing my issue?

Forum was unavailable - according to the PC - just after the England game last night.
Only for about 10-15 minutes but I couldn't get in.
Other Interwebby sites worked so it wasn't a problem this end......
Doesn't crash for me though......

IE8, same as the other thread (which I found after I posted, sorry about that). Normally there's no error message but I'll occasionally get one saying that IE is having problems running a script.

You can close this thread if you like and I'll comment in the existing one.

20 minutes last night, unavailable web site. You could get to the main page, but once you clicked on the forum page, it just crashed.

I wasn't online last night. This has been an ongoing issue for several weeks. I'm assuming that since changing from the Cobra advert to the new Magazines Direct one that something has changed in the flash requirements and it's causing the issue. The timings seem to tie up.

Anyways, i'll just muddle through.

Me too IE8 keeps crashing. No error messages, it just hangs and is happening all of the time. Other web sites are fine so I know its something to do with this web site.

I have been getting flash errors since the site change

its annoying as it hangs for ages, reloads then works fine

I have this problem with my PC at work but fine on my laptop and phone. Suspecting some of the software on my work computer may not be up to date and that is causing the problem but cannot download any updates as against IT rules

Same thing has been happening to me for quite a while now. I've changed to Firefox now and have not had a problem since.
