Has anyone won a competition lately thats been on the competions page,i have entered so many and won none,theres been some really good ones lately as well,is it a matter of keep trying,does anyone know who won the nike one?I will keep entering and hoping.

Nope, nada, nothing for all the years I have been buying golf magazines (at least 20 yrs). I have also entered all the online competitions on the GM website.

Keep on trying! They are open to anyone that buys the mag and visits the comps page. More chance winning here than the National Lottery but we get a lot of entries!

I always think that comps like these are just ways company's get information on you. So they can sell you more stuff.
Does anyone KNOW someone that ever wins these comp's, NOPE. Makes you wonder if there are winners at all.
A few years back someone from my town won £25k on a tv comp, nobody every heard anythng about it. It was never in the local paper, strange that nobody ever heard of the person either.
Keep trying lads our day will come......maybe it has and we missed it.

I won GM Comp nearly 2 years ago. A 5 hole Texas Scramble round Bearwood Lakes with David Howell. Stenson, Kjeldsen and Jiminez were there too and I got to play with the Big Bopper himself Mr Mike Harris Esq!!
As we won the comp we got a Cleveland 3 wood, signed hat, signed and framed picture + dinner and drinks with Howeller.

It does happen Guys..

Just remember - if you do win one you wont get picked for any GM tests, outings or such like for at least forever.....

I won a couple of years ago , name picked out of the hat for completing the annual survey , i won a G10 driver to any spec i asked for . Also got a hybrid to test for the magazine that did not have to be returned

Not a comp as such but been picked as an equipment tester. As for the big comps I guess the moral is you have to be in it to win it and to be honest it only takes five minutes to go through them

I've won a couple of times:
2 years go, I wona full custome fit set of cobras with driver, DWS hybrid and bag of my choice (I wnet for the flash tour bag). In October last year,I won a round at the Brabazon on a charity event.
