Gleneagles ... Advice please

I am due to spend 3 days at Gleneagles soon and would be happy to take advice on car hire from Edinburgh Airport, if anyone has ny suggestion as to the best company. I have been told that dining at the hotel is exorbitant and, whilst we may have a meal or two there any suggestions/recommendations would be welcome

dont the Hotel pick you up?

Auchterarder has a couple of nice eateries, Gleneagles will take you there and back at no charge as well :thup:

The Deseo restaurant in the hotel is very good and not that expensive as the main restaurant and the Andrew Fairlie. Also eat at the Dormy house which has views over the course, good atmosphere and also reasonable cost considering where you are.

Plenty of car hire places at Edinburgh airport. I always use Avis, but that's because I get some discount with my bank account. You can go to the Avis website and reserve online and get a price for it
