Glad I am not in Canada!!

Got Relations in Vancouver and they regularly get snowed in by 6-10 foot drifts.

By the way, that Laura Tobin can forecast my warm front any time she likes...:clap:

Quite. I replied to a post he put on Facebook saying I felt bad for moaning about it being -1C the other day. He replied with "If it was -1, I'd be hanging out in my t-shirt and flip flops". :D

At least in Canada they get hard winters.....that they are totally prepared for

and good hot summers...........you can plan ahead

UK it could be rain/wind/cold..........in winter OR Summer:angry:

We skied in the Banff area a few years ago and it was the same then, often in the mid minus 20s. It was -34 when we returned to Calgary airport !

The best bit was when bought some beers on arrival and put them on the balcony to keep cool. Only to spend the rest of the holiday looking at them as the temperature dropped and the cold jammed the doors and stopped them from opening.
