Giggs & Co - management team?

Do you think it will be disgusting if the players are seen to really up their game and play like we've not seen under Moye's, tactics to one side, just their whole demeanour, attitude and desire?.

I think it would be appalling - would just a total lack of respect. Regardless of what a players feelings are towards a manager they should always give 100% for the club

I find your contribution 'unusual' .... their alleged behaviour of undermining their managers authority resulted in sub- standard performances on the field and this performances were witnessed at a very high cost by many fans - ticket, travel and catering and, as was my point also by Sky/BT viewers but naturally their outlay was much less than the paying fan.

I do not think the new manager should consult the Sky viewers but the Man Utd players giving a poor performance to spite their manager should look at themselves in the mirror and recognise what they see ....utter cheats, that should never be entertained by any EPL team and definitely not by the incoming manager!

Giggs time has run out at Man U - let's hope he shuffles off into the sunset or more possible the coloured lights of Manchester's night life.

Using the word 'alleged' is no defence for the inference that the Senior players 'engineered' the sacking! They (and even the club) may have given up on him some time ago and were simply waiting for the impossibility of Champions League participation to be 'guaranteed' so that they saved many millions of pounds in termination fees.

I find it absolutely obscene that anyone would even consider a coup from the dressing room in any club. Unrest and agitation maybe - which can result in Managers and Players getting sacked. But a coup? Never!

ManU may currently be in a bit of a pickle, but there are plenty of strong characters that would have detected any hint of a coup and snuffed it out!

Fellaini should have been busting a gut for Moyes, instead he looked like he really couldn't be bothered.
Apparently Welbeck put in a transfer request, personally I'd pay someone to take him, as long as they took Cleverly aswell. As soon as they leave utd I'd be surprised if either get another England call up.

That'll be after the fine and extra training for having a night out on a day off!

It happens to a lot of clubs. Look at how many managers City have been through. Look at the turmoil at Newcastle in recent years and lets not forget, fans weren't happy with some Liverpool managers and performances not so long ago. The thing is clubs recover, transist and progress so whil United may not be that good now, it'll only be a matter of time again in the same way Liverpool are beginning to rise back to where they were. Of course if its Fulham......

Aah, the old conspiracy theory that it was all some master plan. And a team consisting mostly of international footballers with the world cup coming up decided they would all deliberately play very poorly in order to get a manager sacked. Sounds very plausible.....

Or possibly it might be that the team is kind of where it should be based on the quality of the players and the quality of the manager. No conspiracies, no sub plots, just a bunch of mostly average players with a very average manager, up against the top teams that have at the very least improved a bit, if not significantly from last season.

Just listened to Giggs on the radio, very easy to say all the right things but he said the key to the next 4 games just for him is for the players to go out and enjoy and express themselves, play with some passion and belief and get some tackles in and take players on the Manchester United way.

Isn't that the game of football and what they should have been doing before?
