I have a big problem re this team!

Alleged unrest amongst the top team players could only be condoned/created by senior players as they have the strength in the dressing room and the training ground if new/younger players stray in any way.

From the above it would therefore be fair to assume that the new management team engineered the way going of their manager with the full knowledge they would benefit if only for an interim period.

It is my opinion that they, by their actions or inactions, made thousands of fans or even people paying Sky/BT, worse off by providing a poorer product than was being paid for.

I trust the new manager will bear this in mind and off load this cancer before they too are held again to ransom by dressing room politics.

If contracts does not allow offloading, the third team coaching with no connection to the first team is the answer.

Man Utd are too big for people with low morals to dictate the direction of success.

Give it to Giggsy full time, he will be even worse than Moyes :whoo:

Certainly going to be an interesting end to the season

They haven't got anything to play for now

Still hope it's Van Gaal they get

Agreed they have nothing to play for which is bad for my side Fulham as United play Norwich on Saturday. They are looking better than their league position suggests recently and so I want United to win but judging by their recent form and the turmoil this week I have grave doubts whether any of the players will turn up and play. Got a feeling Norwich could nick an unlikely win. Bugger

So Giggs and Nikky Butt engineered the whole Moyes sacking so they could play at championship manager for real for a few games? And now football clubs have to take into account the views of Sky Sports viewers when they chose their manager

I think, with the lifting of tension at Old Trafford and nothing to play for, plus (possibly) a more expansive approach from Giggs, that Man U will win all their remaining games and probably with a little bit of style.

Of course, I thought Liverpool were no-hopers this season so what do I know....?

Some thoughts along these lines had crossed my mind, but seems too much of a conspiracy theory to me.

In USA, someone would sue ManU for lowering their enjoyment. You could try, but i wouldn't expect success!

New Manager does indeed have to instill some authority. I don't expect Giggs to be playing after this year, though not going out on a low might be an incentive to stay. Ferdinand has been even more woeful than normal imo! And for all his work rate, Rooney hasn't developed as much as a player as would be hoped for. He looks a bit lost wherever he plays - totally different to Giggs in his pomp, who looked comfortable wherever he played. So a strategy needs to be developed and applied. Bringing in expensive players is a big risk too! So could be interesting times.

But i don't believe the conspiracy theories! Despair perhaps!

I wonder if Giggs will pick himself to try and get the goal he needs to have scored in every season of the PL? I can't remember him scoring yet this year in it forgive me if he has.

Think he got one in Europe, no league goal yet. It's a fantastic record to be fair. Nit sure he'll add to It though.

I find your contribution 'unusual' .... their alleged behaviour of undermining their managers authority resulted in sub- standard performances on the field and this performances were witnessed at a very high cost by many fans - ticket, travel and catering and, as was my point also by Sky/BT viewers but naturally their outlay was much less than the paying fan.

I do not think the new manager should consult the Sky viewers but the Man Utd players giving a poor performance to spite their manager should look at themselves in the mirror and recognise what they see ....utter cheats, that should never be entertained by any EPL team and definitely not by the incoming manager!

Giggs time has run out at Man U - let's hope he shuffles off into the sunset or more possible the coloured lights of Manchester's night life.

I'd love to see Mina Kunis present me with the winning lottery numbers whilst in her birthday suit. Unfortunately some things just ain't gonna happen!

I expect they said that back in the 70's when they got relegated , stranger things have happened and big teams have gone down

Do you think it will be disgusting if the players are seen to really up their game and play like we've not seen under Moye's, tactics to one side, just their whole demeanour, attitude and desire?.

I don't envisage United even flirting with relegation any time soon. They may be in a mess off the pitch but enough quality to ensure a mid table finish for many a year:rofl:

Might be a bit below 7th though without the regular 6pts off Foolham next year after they've swapped places with Leicester.
