getting worse?

Has anyone felt that, even though they feel as though they are getting better, your scores say otherwise, and in fact appear to be getting worse?

Last run of games have been poor on the score card, normally due to half dozen nightmare holes (I would love a round where they don't occur). But, I feel as though my game is getting better. So frustrating.

I feel more the opposite at the moment, I feel my scores are getting better but my ball striking is getting worse believe it or not! only my short game and my putter being on fire is doing that though

This is me at the moment, I am hitting the ball better than ever but my cards look worse. I am not at all worried about it as I feel good about my golf even if for now I have to keep my cards hidden .

Dont panic is the best thing to do, clearly you and I are on the up or kidding ourselves.

YES
I was like that at the start of the summer and my game felt to be improving but my course manageent was still not good so was continually getting at best 2 or 3 of those card wrecking holes every round. Once I learnt to be realistic in my abilities and expectations and 'take my medicine' when needed I started to change the 8's and 9's to 5's and 6's which at the end of the round makes a big difference!
