Please don’t ask to see my tatts 👍
Going to the Prince Charles pub with the RBL for a few beers. Rumours are the Landlord has asked permi to change the name of the pub to the King Charles. He is my King, she is not my Queen.

Plenty of volunteers have been invited so lots of ‘normal’ people will be thereI will watch some of it on the telly, as I did with funeral of Liz II. Glad I did so.
Headline on page 5 of The Times yesterday stated, "Coronation to be beacon of inclusion and diversity."
So I shall be looking out for someone there who has been included because they are working class atheist, like me.
Not that I have anything against any of those who will be in attendance at the abbey, including the big cheese himself.
I merely have a feeling that people like me (a few million, I believe) will feel we are being excluded or underrepresented.
The coronation (noun) is the ceremony at which the sovereign will be coronated.(verb transitive). Or in English, the hoo-ha of giving Brian a new hat.
I will be playing golf.
If we didn't have a monarchy, we would need another way of having a head of state. Can you imagine the snouts at the trough for that one?
Don’t worry, that’s not what she’ll be called. Is the ceremonial motor home not getting decorated in bunting??
Plenty of houses decorated in our street, I will try to avoid the whole thing as the idea of Camilla being called The Queen of England revolts me.
I'm happy to accept that someone is coronated at a coronation. And that they probably get crowned at a crownation ??Being bedantic Trouble is (according to at least 2 of the well known British English dictionaries) that is American English not British English. British English still uses crowned
Probably the Americans who started to use coronated in the first place.
From what I've read, it is mostly people selected from a list of nominations of people who work in a few charities selected by Charles and Camilla.Plenty of volunteers have been invited so lots of ‘normal’ people will be there

And how many of those 1250 will be in the abbey when the crown goes on the head? There are over 1250 volunteers who are attending the coronation plus 800 plus charity workers from a 13 year old who raised £600k to scouts , young helpers etc

I think the comment was in relation to you saying Camilla would be called Queen of England!Because Queen Consort is so much easier on the ear?![]()
