Galvin Green

Can only say that in many years of golfing, and hill-walking/mountaineering, and spending a lot of money on kit, the first time I've been properly dry is after I bought GG gear. Nuff sed for me.

Although Ive got a GG jacket and trousers, I do agree that they are overpriced. I only bought GG because of their reputation at the time. They also need plenty of care to keep them in top condition. I`ve started using Grangers XT proofer to keep them fully waterproof against the scottish weather.
If I was buying now I think I would go for one of the cheaper brands and still use the XT proofer £3.50 a bottle on the net(Great stuff).

Paid £309 for the full suit and haven't looked back since. Played in some right down pours last year and was the only one still dry at the end of the day. Tried other brands in the past and what I spent on them was wasted money. Worth every penny, especially when you get a life time guarantee....

All of my outer clothing for golf is either Galvin Green Or J Lindberg. Both keep you dry, warm & comfortable, even on top of a hill-top in the Peak District.

It is expensive but in my opinion worth the cost.
(I got most of my stuff in 3 for 2 deals which helps)

I saw a video explaining the the layering techniques that Galvin Green use to keep you warm in the winter but also their summer clothing keeps you cool and dry and allows the perspiration to escape. See the video on this website.

They also sell all the major waterproof brands but in my opinion GG is the best. I think they have a 15% discount deal on up to Easter so maybe worth a look.

I've put my tin hat on, preparing to batten down all hatches! GO GO GO!
