Yep, fugly. They dont make a good looking wedge. Too busy, too many etchings, and the leading edge is never straight enough.

But surely as long as you hit it in the middle there's no problem

It is difficult to blade the ball from the fringe if the leading edge isnt square. This is one of my preferred shots around the green.

The epic is horrific looking at address. The sole isn't much better.

I find it is fine at address, due to it sitting square, which is what i look for in a driver. Every time i pick up a TM driver, for instance, i put it behind the ball, relax my grip, and it sits closed. Yes, the green slashes down the sides i could do without, and the turbulators or what ever, but the main thing is it sits well behind the ball.
