Just had to hand my callaway ftiz driver back to American golf because their is a rattle in the club head. They said they will send it back so they can have a look at it but won't be able to repair it. If I can find the receipt which I can't they would have replaced it with a newer model if I can't I am not sure what will happen.

Has anyone ever had an experience like this if so what was the outcome?

Cheers

Ive just put my receipt for my new driver in a safe place thanks to this post, hopefully I will never need it! Thanks for reminding me!

Yep same happened to mine. It carried on for a few shots then started to annoy me where I could take it no longer so I shook it about and it stopped:) anyway I swapped it for my 910D2 as I found it sat very closed at address and was a hook machine!! Buy mine if you want it has got an Aldila Voodoo in it and not the made for Callaway one either. I caught a drive heavy and my original shaft snapped so my pro sent it back to callaway and they put me a new one in only this time the real McCoy all £150 worth!! Ask for it to be sent back to you if they wont or cant do owt with it and should go away of its own accord. Good luck

Buy a new one a different AG, then take the old one back with the new reciept and get a full refund.
Thats if its in decent condition though I guess

Sorted

Had a similar thing happen with my Driver a while ago - happened to be a Callaway also. Solved by injecting some 'hot melt' into the
head (there was a hole to do so in mine) and getting the offending piece of plastic (or whatever) to catch in the sticky goo and set. No rattles since.

There's some other stuff called Rat Glue that achieves the same.

A mate has a similar rattle in his Driver - not a Callaway.

Big Rick. What you are suggesting is theft!

Heat the head up to melt the glue, then cool it. Glue should reset hard attached to something, rattle gone!
