Frost and temporary greens

There is a balance - and it is quite possible that additional shots used to get out of bunkers are balanced by additional shots due to putting on poor surfaces.
The CR of courses is overwhelmingly based on length. Things like bunkers and how difficult the greens are do not make a significant difference to CR.
Therefore according to the powers that be, a course with temp greens will be easier, because it's shorter.

Indeed. Plus and to my question, there is less risk of ‘bunker mess up’…especially for the higher handicapper. But no change to CR or slope and so no change to shots given.

Not sure what you mean…however thinking what you might mean…when we have temp greens all our bunkers will be fully in play unless conditions specific to any bunker has it marked as GUR.
Sorry just seen I've missed a word out. I meant to say Do you have all holes on temporary greens? Also is Rake and Place in operation in the bunkers? It is at ours.

When we go temps we always go all temps (I think). Bunkers are all still in normal play unless deemed GUR on a case by case basis.
