Sinse I found this place of onine debate and golfing blind gaming I have had a good bit of enjoyment out of it and to be honest somethig has happened to me on here that doesnt happen all that often ... I have actually laughed out loud and not the fake LOL you get in a text from fake people. I can recall a couple of times when I have had a belly ache and they were Clivew's picture of the whiteout in his back garden and birdieman taking the role of Citizens Advice when Clubchamp had a run in with Doris Karloff in the clubhouse at his course.

So....

What gem from on here has had you doubled up?

I posted mine in OOB the other day, a story about when Homer got hit by a golf ball and had to lay on the ground for a few minutes. The image just got me giggling (sorry HJS)

Also any epic thread where people go and investigate peoples claims on here make me laugh everytime. x

Must admit that one of my fav's was your one about Electric trollies & there not-so-masculine owners :)

There are some expert fishermen on here.

They carefully tie the fly, expertly cast it, and reel the unsuspecting prey in :D :D.

I'm still at the handful of maggots on a big hook stage ;)

the one about what you eat before and after a round, drawboy came out with this great big list,ie a fry on 1st burgar on 2nd and a diet coke to was it down,so i said the same olny fat coke and to keep trim i use a buggy"""

I think some of the funniest post have not been intentionally started as funny or amusing posts. Other than the "recent" post the old faithull Custom Fitting thread of a couple of years ago was probably one of the funniest. The thread was obviously pulled on the direct instruction of the United Nations Peace Keeping Forces. Ah, Flopshot, we miss you ;)

Some of the other crackers have been based on either club technology advancements or use of GPS. These have at times managed to elicit more than a gentle chortle from me.

Long may they continue. Variety is the spice of life as they say :D

The one that got me rolling about was the 'Tazer' gun story........It took me ages to read it as I kept laughing and wiping the tears from my eyes.

The description of the events were brilliantly written.

Just read it again and couldnt stop laughing.

some of the best were those that started as spam but degenerated (or regenerated?) into outright farce and anarchy.

perhaps we (me included) are a bit too quick to pull them nowadays. I do miss some of the more erudite put downs.
