Forget playing - how many hours per week do you actually PRACTICE?

I don't practice at all, not because I don't want to, just that I don't have the time. With the time I do have would much rather use it to play on the course. Also, apart from the driving range and putting green, there are no facilities at my course.

Well, since I started playing last august I go to the range 3 times a week and hit about 400 balls.

Been the range twice today and hits 250 balls as I am playing tomoro.

Its only been the last 2 days where I am really starting to strike the ball really really well and consistent.

Broke 90 a couple of weeks ago and I wanna try and break 85 before September :)

So, I practice alot as my miserable friends dont play much hehe!

I can now hit it straight, draw and fade (with irons anyway) but its been a long time coming!

Not enough! I don't have the time as I'm playing too much.

The problem is that if you have got a problem that needs sorting, you can't do it out on the course, you need to sort it and groove it on the practice ground.

Does playing a round on your own, hitting lots of balls into greens and generally using the course to practice on count?

If so, a fair bit. I usually try and sneak in a midweek round on my own at some point.

Usually about 1-2 hours per week. Don't do ranges so nothing more than a 9 iron on our practice hole, hitting prob 50 balls from 130 yards and an hour on chipping and putting green.

About 2.5 hrs a week on average mainly on the short game. No driving range at my course but try to get up to the nearest one at least once a month. Swing is still maturing so positive changes on the mid irons gradually affecting the longer clubs. Would like to practice more though.

Quite a lot at the start of the season , but it tails off around this time of year as there arent any major comps left to play. When its at its peak I suppose I practice for a couple of hours maybe 3/4 times a week and then I also put in a few hours around the chipping green too. Very rarely do any putting practice though it bores me rigid

Practically none at the moment as I'm still having trouble with my hand. Playing through the pain (I'm 'ard see!) but can't see the point in doing it through practice.
If it ever gets better then maybe a couple of hours a week.

I play at least once or twice a week on my own. If I hit a poor shot then I drop another ball to practice the shot again. I will still play the first one but it's nice to have another chance and to proove to myself i can play the shot. it helps with confidence i think. I do go to the range - a nice grass one with targets and so on, but i just find course practice is so much better for my game.

None at the moment, just don't have time. Did about 4 hours a week last season but just can't donor this year, too many things to do.

None, 40 hours a week at work plus 20 hours commuting means home is eat and sleep, nothing else. I can't hit the ball at the driving range anyway, I don't concentrate properly.
