I'm pretty sure you've typed a long winded reply for absolutely nothing. My understanding is all money goes back to Scottish Golf and invested at grass roots. It's nothing other than a kind gesture giving up a tee time and use of the course.
all the money of these SGU offers goes to Junior golf as you say same as the Muirfield, Troon and Prestwick offers

Well done that was almost funny.

Took three days to come back with such a childish response, not exactly covering yourself in any glory with your derogatory comments so far.

:ROFLMAO: LOL 3 days to reply. Like most people on here I have a life outside the forum. Don't you?

I'm sensing you work as a ball spotter, or represent the union of ball spotters, which is why you are getting very offended. My personal view is that I see the value of a caddie but don't see the value of a ball spotter (beyond maybe a fiver). Maybe others see it as worthwhile, that's their choice and if they feel they get value out of it then that's great for everyone. I expect the majority don't, otherwise Renaissance wouldn't have to make it compulsory.

You use the word derogatory, but i'm not the one calling people ignorant and childish.

Anyway you never answered the question: did you have any takers for your ball spotting? Thought not.

Priceless.

Ball spotter, yeah man full time ball spotter. Did you come up with that all by yourself? You sitting there chuckling away big boy?

Keep working on the comedy one day you may get a laugh. Come across as an ignorant obnoxious knob that's all you're doing.

That incidentally is a view formed on the basis of you and your replies, not because I'm being "childish".

Scottish Golf will have no influence on where the open goes to. It's the exact same with Prestwick and Castle Stuart, they have donated a tee time every week (or for a specific period of time) to SG.
Add Carnoustie, we were offered tee times at all 3 courses via SG. Seemingly our green fees are paid directly to Scottish Golf not to the donating clubs.
Some might consider it a type of bribe, same as donating millions to a political party , then surprise surprise you get a knighthood :ROFLMAO:
