What a joke.

And just to highlight the point, Birmingham have a 'goal' ruled out because the linesman missed it in the FA cup quater's today.

Im not even a blues fan, just fancies a moan.

Massive mistake IMO. My game of choice Rugby League has benefited immensely from this technology. I suppose it takes the ability of paying a ref off (allegedly) to throw an important game, and we wouldn't want that now would we ;)

Well its a good point, with football becoming more of a business and millions of pounds relying on a referee or linesmens decision it is in my oppinion a ridiculous decision, and its all down too one person sepp blatter the sooner that idiot retires the better.

I'd get your facts right first. Blatter has been with the tides on this but it's Platini who is most against it.

Sepp blatter has got the power to make the final decision not platini so surely its down to blatter to say yes or no.

Sadly no it has to ratified by the committee responsible for law changes and then agreed and sanctioned by the governing committee. Platini and Blatter don't have a direct say. Something needs to be done though as the game is looking more and more antiquated as every other sport steals a march on how to deal with this kind of issue. Six officials in the Europa league clearly isn't the way so where else can they go

You can confidently predict the league champions each year from a group of two (how exciting).

Oh you mean chelski and united...oh and arsenal too... and weren't people suggesting Liverpool count mount a challenge this year? (I know, amusing to look back at it now)

Football is a an absolute joke!

I used to love the game.

I can't stand it anymore.

The game is run by complete idiots.
It's full of divers and cheats and the idiots wont do anything about it.

Listening to the media and their completely biased views quite frankly makes me want to vomit.

Arsenal? Who?

Sorry, I am an Arse fan, and they are not going to win it any time soon. Wish it would happen, but semis is about the bet they will get.

You talking about the champions league? I was referring to the league. I sure as hell hope you don't win the league. I have a £200 bet on with my friend that they don't! x

Ahh, prem, it's a defo maybe. I think we will fall heroically short, and finish second to the russians.

In my dreams, the Glazers will sell Roon in the off season, and united will be relegated next year.

And the Totts, who gives a f.....lip.

How on earth would they be able to fix the game results if they had that tech in there...? You don't get the amount of money this sport has without being a teensie bit corrupt...

Or it could be the footballers themselves not wanting another camera trained on them in case their hair is a little bit mussed. Though in general, if there is enough contact to muss hair, then it's likely the player would be in the tunnel receiving treatment.

Couldn't sum up my feelings on the current state of football any better.
