We have so many around here..never see a rider with a helmet, almost always on the pavement.
Could have taken one out the other day.
One of the kids, fortunately a good driver, was turning left, illegal scooter crossed the road in front of us without looking.
She saw the idiot and acted accordingly...
I think they're deathtraps

Very dangerous

One causes a crash in leighton - tried to get away then hit another car and is still in hospital- should be treated like mopeds

There are trials going on around the country where you can hire one, we're part of it here.
I can't remember the criteria but you definitely need a Provisional and there are restrictions on where you can go.
These "hire" scooters are legal as part of the cost of the hire covers insurance
All other electric scooters are illegal to use in a public place - it's a shame/disgrace that purchasers don't seem to be told this.
Yes same here .
There’s a five way traffic light just by the hospital near me .
It’s a joke they just scoot through the lights not even looking at the traffic.
Seen a few come off after a car has blown the horn.
Best was a scrawny little runt waving his fist at a driver, guy got out the car looked like the Rock scrawny legged it .
Best laugh I have had for ages.
