I marked the end of the year by playing my first 'full' round of golf. Actually only managed 15 holes because of early onset of darkness. It didn't start well - 15 strokes on the first two holes. Then it settled down a bit. 15 holes, 92 strokes, par 60. Long irons were terrible, no woods or hybrid in my bag, rained all day and my hands were frickin freezin! I played like a weapon and .......... absolutely loved it.

To find out more check out the project scratch blog (see signature).

Major question is I am now in the push not carry camp and thinking of getting the PK twinline 3. Anyone got any recommendations for push trolleys?

was going to play aswell 2day, got to car park and it began to snow, can u believe it, so went to driving range 4miles away 3 foot deep, and i got my new fairway woods today

Can't go wrong with a twinline 3. Haven't found a better one since getting mine.

You had a look at "Dream on" yet? If you can’t find a copy PM me and I will send you mine.

Have put your website in my favourites - going to enjoy following you guys.

Hi,

good luck mate , at least you enjoyed it and got out to play.

I have the twinline and it is a good bit of kit.

Cheers

Midnight...

Shot a 74 (net 65) myself today. Haven't played in 3 weeks. I was driving like a chump, wedge and putter saved bacon many times including a birdie chip in from a downhill bank over a deep bunker onto a shallow green and in! That made the boys smile... Not.

Tiger get back to carrying.

First time on a big track and you're already better than Smiffy! Nice one :D

Thanks for following our mission and for the offer. Definitely buying a copy of Dream On once I've finished reading my Christmas fodder.

he's gonna love you for that! Brendy, my bag is both a carry and cart and I think I'll carry again in the future but at the moment while I'm improving I think a cart will help whilst carrying is definitely hindering :p

Do you not think that during the winter while you have your hands out with your trolley, they are getting cold where they are toasty warm when carrying and they are buried in your pockets? (forgetting goofy trolley gloves)

Take less shots then! :D
Seriously, you arnt standing doing 100 reps in one go though. Think of the extra little exercise you are getting,it all helps.

Hey Homer, it was certainly an eye opener but now planning on keeping things much simpler, especially on the par 5s! Got another lesson today and normally I would have asked to work on my long irons. But having played with a 7 handicap having a brief swing check then focussing on the short game.
