First Tee Nerves

Shame can't find a way to get some confidence ? A run of good games could help

Had a few, but I only need that one bad drive, and it just evaporates. It's tee shots that do the damage. The rest is more than fine. I'm at my best in an indoor net. May be I need to only play on a simulator?

Never mind, come RCP and St Georges, I will have found the secret, bottled it, and made millions.

Looking forward to it - should be a great couple of days

I've seen you play, and play well and never saw too many first tee nerves

Easier said than done, but if you're having first tee nerves because you're worried what people will think if you hit a bad shot, forget it.

They really don't care.

The only thing that will make them think bad of you, is if you throw a strop afterwards.

I think of one of two things(depending on what underlying mood I am in) :-

1) I don't care about the result as I don't, sometimes the shoot is good sometimes it isn't but I don't care on that day!!
2) Or normally I think swing sloooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, as I normally swing way to fast even thinking this. This normally leads to a okay shoot.

In the few competitions I played so far, what always helped me was that every time someone from my group teed off before me and either hit a ball oob or hit a lady. Even though I felt bad for them, it took a lot of pressure off me and made me think "just get it off the tee and you'll look better than that" And I did manage a half decent tee shot on the first every time. (Did not prevent me from making a mess of things later in the round and still look like an idiot, though)
