First Qualifier of the year.

New to the forum. Loving the atmosphere already.

It's our first qualifier of the year on Saturday! Finally, I thought qualifiers would never come around again. So excited. Can finally get cut again, although not looking forward to the inevitable .1s that are going to come this season!

Anyone else got medals on Saturday? I hope your playing in them if you have, surely not to be missed competitions.

Been practicing hard through the winter? Or hoping your game will be on fire after a well deserved break?

Welcome aboard, Our first three comps are non qualifying, 2 fourball betterballs and a stableford. First qualifier isnt until next week now. Looking forward to the medals though (last week of each month)

Ok chaps, some of us aren't club members. What's qualifying and non-qualifying? (to do with handicaps perhaps?)

Good point Backwoodsman. I have received my club calendar for the year (my first one) and it may as well be in a foreign language.

Qualifiers are club comp's where you can have your handicap adjusted up or down depending on your score and the competition standard score of the day, it can of course remain the same.You will have to enter at least three of these events to qualify to enter the clubs major's.
