First Medal Competition

I played my first medal competition at Pedham Place and finished 27th out of 40ish.

My net score was 79 after going round in 105. A lot of room for improvement in the putting department is needed, thinking of changing to a 34" putter with a Super Stroke grip then giving that a go in the next stableford competition on the 20th instead of my belly putter.

You're lucky to still be playing medals. Ours finished on 28th September, and don't start again until first week in April. A long six months

There is another medal next month and in December as well, and the winter league starts on October 27th.

A good enough start and no doubt a few early nerves. It does get easier (can't guarantee better) the more comps you play

Good to get the first one out of the way, at least now you know what to expect.

What's the course like? I live in Tonbridge but play my games in Edenbrige....I've played loads of the courses around us locally but hadn't heard of your one.

Yeah I can't wait for the next medal as I know I can do better as most of the shots were lost on the greens.

It's a testing course, even more testing off the back tees.
