After 10 days with no golf at all and a nice week away, I played in our monthly medal on Saturday and managed to play some pretty good stuff, scoring 87 (par 70). Found out I've been cut to 19.9...woohoo!! :D

Feels so nice to be out of the 20s (not technically, I know) but am happy as Larry, especially as I've been working hard on my game and been struggling with inconsistency of late. Obviously the time off did some good!

Apologies for blowing my own trumpet chaps, but after the start I had this year I'm feeling well happy, and with a week of decorating and DIY ahead, it's cheered me up! :D

Great stuff!! I hope to get <20 before end of the year myself.

So how do you normally cope on the SI3 hole at your course?
Hopefully okay as youll lose a shot there now...

Well done chap, always a confirmation of improvement to play well sub-h/c in a Medal, keep working at it sounds like its working!

Nice one mate. Still trying to find time to actually play in a comp or two to give me a chance of a cut. August is pretty much a write off as I'm busy for the next 3 weekends
