I had 2 bowls singles finals that were due the weekend of lockdown. The first one was played today. 7-0 after 3 ends became 7-5 after 5 ends. The end result was 21-7. It was pretty comprehensive. We'd agreed prior to going out that the spirit of the game after the difficulties over here was paramount. We'd also agreed a half time break, which in 33* of heat in a game that would run to 2 hours was important. 3 ends in(7-0) after being called a plonker for a very legitimate measure I decided to give nothing.
To be fair he was already clutching at straws.... clutch on.... game set and match to the Hobbit in his first matchplay final.
